OVERVIEW

Muse is a news aggregator app. It was designed to encourage reading by gamifying the reading experience and giving users interesting metrics related to their usage of the app.

OBJECTIVE

Most reading apps didn�t give us the tools that we wanted in this type of app, so we set out to create our own. Muse was intended to be a tool that would allow users to coalesce their personal reading publications into one newsfeed.

I designed the iconography and user interface. I was very conscious about selecting the appropriate type and colors to put as much emphasis on the actual reading content and reduce any potential strain to the eye.
